Today was our monthly '3rd Sunday of the Month' ride which got pushed to the 4th Sunday due to weather! It was still on the cool side today with temps hovering around 48 - 50 and a slight cool breeze, but great sunshine. I used Tim's heated jacket liner today to give it a try and I'm getting me one of those. I didn't have to bulk up and I was toasty and comfortable the whole ride. What a great invention - heated gear!
We had 10 bikes with 9 of them being 2 up, so we had 19 riders. We left the store parking lot about 1:25pm and Bob L. led the ride taking us north of town taking country roads to Fair Grove, where we stopped at the Mill for a group shot.
Once we left Fair Grove we headed down Hwy 125 to Sunshine and headed back into town for some food and fun at Dairy Queen. I tried to do a video with my regular camera. Impossible with the wind and the bumps in the road. Should have taken the GoPro! It was a great day for a ride and the crowd is always fun. Thanks Bob for leading a wonderful ride.Oh, and if you do go on a ride with us, fill up your gas tank first as our rides are longer than 10 miles. You know who you are!!
